I hate "dieting" and I'm not the type to want to be healthy just because it's trendy. Most of the time my weight fluctuates a little, and I don't check it too closely. My measuring stick has always been my clothing. If I can still fit in to my same clothes from year to year, I'm good. I have had some of the same jeans for almost 10 years.... However, I stepped onto the scale for the first time in a while and IMMEDIATELY started gagging when I saw the number...I need to lose some weight folks, and I need an easy and almost painless way to do so. I'd like to lose about 10 pounds before June 6th, because that's when I'm going to the beach. Any suggestions? Remember: Quick, easy, painless. (and if your "diet" involves chocolate and diet coke, that will be a major plus). Also, I'm allergic to milk, so I can't do the slim fast route.

On my blog, there's a link to "my daily plate" Basically its a website where you put in everything you eat throughout the day. You start by putting in your goal weight and it will tell you how many calories to consume everyday. When you work out, you put in what you did (like walk/jog for 20 mins) and it will give you the appropriate amt of extra calories. It sounds so simple, but it WORKED for me. Like at night, when I would want to snack, I would see I had 100 calories left, so I would eat a popsicle instead of grabbing the chips. I worked out about 3 times a week and counted calories and I lost 10 pounds in a month.
Man-I gotta start doing that again bc I gained it all back over the winter/when I stopped paying attention to what I ate!
Girl - you let me know when you find something that works. My mom had dental surgery done and cannot eat solids for 4 months!! Although that wouldn't fit with your "painless" criteria, I'm sure a great side effect will be effective weight loss. You are so cute though. Even if you don't like the swimsuit part, your beautiful face will distract everyone! Just wear lots of lipgloss and big sunglasses. ;)
Also - I added a potato recipe to your comments from your April 9th post. I'm just a little behind on my blogs. I know a potato recipe is not what you want to read with your current post, but it's too easy not to pass on. It's carbalicious b/c it's potato, but not too calorific. (Like the use of 2 nonwords in 1 sentence?)
Go vegan!!! It's not exactly painless, but it's a healthy way to drop weight quickly and not starve! Eat all the fruits and veggies you want. You have to get creative, but I enjoy the challenge. Also, buy the double fiber whole wheat bread and make grilled veggie sandwiches! Yum!
Where did you get the cute background for your page? I love birds!
