With so much negativity going on, its easy for my attitude to plummit. Here are some good things going on with me. I wish this could be a picture post, but for some reason my camera doesn't want to upload to my computer... maybe I'll edit them in later.
Good Deals: My mom and I went to Hurricane Lake Estates for their bi-annual community yard sale. I'm not really a big "yard sale-er" but both my mom and I have found really good deals here before. Last year I got a brand-new patio loveseat, two chairs, and a coffee table set for $40!!! We didn't spend too much money this year.... The best deal of the day were 5 brand-new (with tags still attached) Ralph Lauren Polo button down shirts for Trey. The still-attached price tag read $75.00 but we bought them for $15!!!
Good Weather: This is by far my favorite time of year. I've had the windows open during the afternoon and the fireplace going at night. I love our gas log fireplace... it has a remote control so it is really easy to "turn on." Also, its very pretty, which is the main reason that I like it.
Good Food: We went to Branson this past weekend for a mini-vacation. Since it was officially my birthday trip, I got to chose where we ate. Everyone agreed on Cantina Laradeo and it was wonderful.... seriously, if you haven't been to the one in Little Rock, go there immediately! It is so good, and the prices are really really cheap considering the quality of food you get.
Good News: I got a call last week that my house is going to be included on East End's Christmas Tour of Homes! Every year 5 new construction houses are featured on a tour to show off Christmas decorations and raise money. The tickets are $10 and 100% of the money goes to buy Christmas gifts for children in the East End area. Two years ago, my parent's house was on the tour, and my mom and I had so much fun decorating every room! I can't wait to start decorating my own. The tour is December 6. You all should come by! By the way, I'm on the hunt for modern and non-traditional decorating ideas. If you have any, please email them to me.
Good Movies: I've been on the quest this year to change certain things about myself (maybe a post about this in the future). One of these things is my one movie per month rule. This month I've seen 3 so far! Eagle Eye is a MUST SEE... oh, its so good. The Secret Life of Bees is also a must see.... I'm gonna buy it when it comes out on video.
What is good in your life?

I really wanted to go the yard sale, but couldn't make it. Did you see Jake and Timie? They had one.
I will for sure be visiting the tour of homes. How do i buy tickets?
Tickets are available at the door of any house... so if you start at my house, you can buy it from me. They are $10.
I'm so excited for you about the Tour of Homes!! My mom was included in the Grant County tour 2 years ago. I know your house will look amazing! You'll definitely have to post pictures!!
Good things in my life...I get almost every weekend off for the rest of the year. I got to go trick or treating with my 17month old nephew (dressed as a lemur - how adorable?!?!) and tomorrow night I get to see my 4 month old niece and all of my siblings. There are definitely good things in the middle of this world's "turmoil".
